Had a good day today. I called in the cavalry to help with the right flap given the the issues I had the other day. GAM travelled from Sydney to help, thank you very much for that but I'm afraid travelling expenses are not covered under the current WD. We started by priming the mating surfaces of the flap ribs & brackets then riveted the parts together as required, I'm sorry to say I forgot to take photos of that stage of proceedings. Next was assembly of the flap which was done VERY carefully so as not to dent the skin and all went well, so much so that after the first assembly and in consultation with PGC, it was decided that any attempt at further refinement of the fit would more than likely result in damage rather than improvement.
