Brief Description: Wheel Spats, Static system & FLARM Antenna Cable
I've dabbled at a few tasks this weekend, the weather has continued to be dreadful with time spent in the build shed quite cold despite having the fireplace working & we've had approximately 250mm or 10 inches of rain in the last 48 hours & it's still falling.
In a desperate attempt to have this aircraft fly faster that PGC's Sling 4, even if only by 1 knot, I'm installing wheel spats, a trial fit shows they should be relatively straight forward to install.
I installed reverse polarity SMA connectors to the FLARM B antenna cable as I need an extension to reach the FLARM unit.
I'm still trying to decide on a convenient position for the alternate static source selector, I've fitted a filter & will try a few different positions this week.
