About 10 days ago, PGC & I spent an entire afternoon trying to get the leading edge skin to fit on my left wing using the new ribs, all without success. I have been very fortunate in being able to visit the factory twice over the last two weeks, talking with the guys who build the Slings about my problems with this issue & unfortunately it seems that the skin itself may be the culprit so today I removed the offending skin & ribs. Now I must wait for a replacement to be sent from Johannesburg. I'll prepare as many parts as I can for the right wing in the mean time. I was able to fly the factory taildragger during one of my visits confirming that overcoming these few problems with the kit will be well worth it, what a fantastic aircraft to fly.
