Brief Description:  Left Wing

Since my last log entry I've been attempting to resolve the skin deformation issue spending countless hours (at least 30) removing skins, adjusting ribs & reinstalling all to no evail so I haven't bothered to log the hours as they have been fruitless. Today I bit the bullet & removed rib 12 as it is sitting way too high above the level of the other ribs & I believe that is a major part of my problem, particularly at ribs 5 & 6. This required undoing the pitot/AoA tubing, a job I will now need to repeat. I've manufactured (& alodined) two doublers from 1.6 mm thick stock that I will use to reinforce the rib flanges as my only option to lower this rib the required 1.5-2.0 mm is to elongate the mounting holes in the rib flanges & allow it to sit lower on the fwd & rear spars.
Tomorrow I'll prime the doublers & start removing material from the rib flanges.
