I spent most of the week at the paint shop assisting Richard prepare the fuselage for the next phase of painting. I made some stands to allow the main axles to be removed & with the rear fuselage supported by the gallows, have the fuselage at a comfortable height to enable painting the bottom. A few fiddly areas remain to be painted but we hope the fuselage paint will be complete by next weekend. I was also able to install, with the assistance of PGC thank you, the refuelling point bonding wire on the left wing. Although I've been involved in some of the painting preparation, I'm not claiming any building hours for the painting process as at the end of the day it will be a professional paint job.
