This week was spent performing the annual inspection of the factory built Sling 2 taildragger and complete the service bulletins for the rudder cables & Rotax carburettor floats on it. Today it was back to the kit aircraft and I was able to rivet the left wing tip in place & commence SB0014 by replacing the required rivets on the upper wing surface, once again using Duralac faying surface compound. I also filled the rivets on the right flap & aileron undersides and filled about 1/3 of the rivets on the upper surface of the left wing.
