I was fortunate to visit the factory last week, I purchased a kit of parts to transform the, for me, unused parachute compartment into a luggage compartment that incorporates 2 access hatches in the skin. I intend to put hatches in the floor of that compartment that will allow some access to the rudder/brake pedals in case of future maintenance. I also purchased a strengthening bracket normally found only in parachute equipped aircraft that will also allow mounting some avionics components.
Today I finished fettling the tailwheel mount parts, deburred & alodined them then prepared the composite spring for clearance from some rivet tails that will be installed for the fairing skin. Next job is to prime these parts as required prior to riveting.
