Today I drilled the bolt holes through the mount plate & composite spring, countersunk them & formed the tie down ring clearance slot in the leading edge. These parts need deburring, alodining & painting before I rivet it all together but I was keen to see how she sat on all 3 wheels so installed the tailwheel assembly. She sits very nose high as it turns out, as weight is added that will reduce a little but visibility over the nose with the tail down will be quite restricted I think.
