A disappointing day today, I de-riveted the front right side main undercarriage mount structure then attempted to cleco the new re-enforcing angle into position only to find it has been formed incorrectly at the factory. It's a piece made from 1.6mm thick material so very difficult to rework without damage. Having found one piece to be non conforming, I de-riveted the left side & trial fitted the other parts, they all seem to fit well. Whilst the assembly was out, I match drilled the side skin to suit. I've sent photos to the factory & now await their decision as to whether they will replace the part or I somehow rework it to fit.
