Brief Description:  Centre Fuselage

Again it's been a while since my last build update. The autumn weather has been fairly mild so I've taken advantage of that flying the factory built taildragger when I can, I've put approx 40 hours on it since taking delivery. Between that & work, I have made a little progress with the kit, this blog covers quite a few days work where I have been able to reduce the friction in the aileron controls to quite an acceptable level then I sheered off the front of the left side console skin in order to make future access easier for routine maintenance, a small doubler flush riveted to the fwd section locates it in place when the aft section is installed. I've disassembled one area of the existing undercarriage mount & drilled the holes for its mount doublers (right side aft), I think the thin material of the undercarriage channel is a little weak to absorb any force the new pieces may apply so I made doublers from 1mm thick 6061-T6 & alodined them, they'll be installed on the inside of the undercarriage channel.
