Today was death by dimpling, the aft section of the centre console will eventually be covered with leather & vinyl and I don't want rivet heads to protrude under the covering so I've dimpled all of the holes involved in order to fit countersunk rivets. All the holes were deburred prior to dimpling, I'll do a final deburr of all the pieces tomorrow then they will be ready for alodine. No wonder the flush rivet option for a factory built Sling is expensive, it's such a labour intensive process.
