PGC yesterday returned from the factory with many replacement parts for me, thank you.
The replacement angles & channels for the TDR undercarriage mount work a treat, they now fit very well without the need of a spacer.
He also brought most parts of the canopy support structure that will be replaced. I’ll wait for the remainder of the parts that are being prepared at the factory before deburring & alodining all of them.
GAM travelled once more to assist with a fairly major rework of the "standard" landing gear mount area as mentioned in my log of the 24th. We produced two spacers for the right side as a trial & that worked very well by spacing the aft vertical angle rearward 2mm, the skin/external doubler now fit almost perfectly in this area. The same now needs to be done for the left side prior to alodining, painting & reassembly. A few more hours will be spent reworking these areas then hopefully, progress will again be made.
