I've been away for a week with work so had a few domestic chores to catch up on. I have changed my mind on having the tabs that fit under the control columns riveted below the floor skin. If in the unlikely event that the column should ever need to be removed, it would require major surgery to do so. Today I managed to find the time to de-rivet the tabs & install 5mm rivnuts in the floor skin, the tabs will be held in with 3mm x 10mm button head screws. I also installed some continuous grommet in the hole where the fuel hoses emerge from under the floor.
