Brief Description:  Rear Fuselage

Fortunately the adhesive cured overnight so today I installed the static hoses to the ports & secured them to the structure. I then carried out a leak test IAW CAO 100.5. I.e. For unpressurised airplanes - Evacuate the static pressure system to a pressure differential of approximately 33 hPa (1" Hg, 14" H²0, 0.5 PSI) or to a reading on the altimeter that is 1,000 feet above the aircraft's elevation at the time of the test. Without additional pumping for a period of 1 minute, the loss of indicated altitude must not exceed 100 feet on the altimeter. The test was perfect, no loss at all over 30 minutes. At least this section of the static system is OK. Then I mowed the lawns, AGAIN.
