I've been away with work for the last 2 weeks so today was the first in the workshop for a while. I want to paint (colour matched to the factory built canopy frame) the luggage compartment skins prior to installing them. I'm going to fill the rivet heads prior to paint so today I made a few tools for applying the epoxy body filler in the rivet heads & experimented with the process up to & including applying a coat of paint on a scrap skin I had left over from the wing build. Not too bad for a first attempt but I will need to refine the process or I'll still be filling rivets when I'm in my nineties.
