GAM again came to the workshop today to give me a hand, thank you. We were able to achieve quite a milestone in attaching the lower skin to the rear fuselage. I have some video taken at the factory of this process so that is what we followed today. By starting at clecoing then riveting the skin to the rib cross-members, that gave us a rigid panel to then cleco to the side skins. Overall the result is pleasing however despite my efforts, I still have some lumps & bumps in the side skins at the lower corners of the ribs. There are lots of rivnuts to install for the tailwheel mount & access panels so I think that will be my next task as the structure is very light & relatively easy to handle at this stage.
