I talked to Bruce Reynolds today about swapping the left and right inboard flap ribs in order to simplify the pushrod attach structure - the RV-7 flaps make much more sense and he thought my proposal was reasonable. Decided to modify the flaps and take advantage of the RV-7 design. I left the flat stock and the angle stock in Daytona, so I have to order some parts either way. Clamped the inboard ribs to the spars and drilled pilot holes for the rivets. Match-drilled the inboard ribs thru the skins. Took the flaps apart and de-burred and dimpled the new holes. Dimpled the top flanges of the flap spars and the corresponding top skin holes.
