This is the First Anniversary of the project, a year ago today I received the Empenage in the mail from Van's Aircraft.
I didn't have a lot of time to work on the plane tonight. But I spent a good amount of time reorganizing the shop and laying out the parts for the rear spar. I didn't accomplish much, but I labeled the spar, and laid out the reinforcement plates in their proper positions and clecoed them into place.
Next I have to position and match drill the spar doublers, and match drill the reinforcement plates. Then I plan to manually etch and prime all the components, along with the tie down components. v After that we are on to the wing ribs, and making the wing jigs.
