Welcome to my build Log for my RV-7. I've still not decided on many aspects of thid project such as the canopy type (tip up or slider), the enginge manufacterer, the size of the engine (O-320, O-360, or the O-390), whether the aircraft will have a constant speed of fixed propellor, or if it will be a -7 (aildragger) or -7A (conventional gear). But I have decided to build an RV-7....
Today I finally received my empenage kit from Van's aircraft! The Empennage was delivered by FedEx Ground and it took a little over a week to make the journey from Oregon to Massachusetts. No parts were damaged during the shipping process , but there were a few parts that were missing despite what I thought was a thorough inventory of the parts. I'm going to have to get better at my inventory process....
The missing parts were: - Both HS-708 Horizontal Stabilizer Main Ribs missing, re-ordered from Vans. - The VS-705 Vertical Stabilizer Nose Rib was also missing, re-ordered
