Brief Description: Wing Final Assembly, and EAA Tech Counselor Visit
This work session started fast and kept moving. I had a ton of work to get done and also had a Tech Counselor visit so I wanted to clean up about a million tasks. I started the day by completing the deburring of all of the holes in the ribs and the forward and aft spar on both wings. Next I dimpled all of the ribs on the wing frame and then the outer wing skin panels for the upper skins on the left and the right wings. Next, I removed the blue film from the interior of all the wing skins. It doesn't exactly sound like a lot, but it was a lot.
Finally, my EAA Tech counselor, Bob Di Meo, came by and got a good look at the work that I've done over the last 18 or so months. He seemed quite impressed, and I was relieved. He was rather thorough, and looked in a lot of corners. It was a very positive experience and I'm ready to move forward.
This is the last time you will see this photo. Yeah!
