In this work session, I set the fuel tank z-brackets to the left and the right fuel tank in one work session. Looking back, the only thing I missed doing was scuffing the mating surfaces between the rear baffle and the z-bracket, but this is a minor concern of no real consequence. I was more intent on making sure all of the z-brackets were in the correct orientation, and must have rechecked their orinetation 200 times (too many) before setting the pulled rivets. The simple way to remember it is, that both of the end brackets are oriented inward, while the inner brackets are oriented outboard. Then I set both tanks in the warmer basement to allow the sealant a warm temperature to cure at. I plan on leak testing the tanks soon, but I'm more interested in setting them on the spar and completing major assembly of the wings by attaching the wing skins. I think I will remove and leak test them once that task is completed.
