Brief Description:  Right and Left Fuel Tank

In this work session I completed the the countersinking of the aft line of rivets on the T-701 tank skin, and then got to work on the left fuel tank.

- The first step was to fit the Z-Brackets to the left wing then fit the fuel tank on top of the wing and placed 1/8" clecos in the screw holes to hold the tank in its final position. After noting a nice minimum (1/32") gap between the fuel tank, the upper wing skins, and the outboard leading edge I then drilled the innerrmost z-bracket to set the lateral position of the tank.

- I then match drilled the W-423 joiner plate with the T-701 fuel tank skin using a #30 drill bit and 1/8" clecos.

- I then removed all the 1/8" clecos securing the T-701 skin to the wing, and then removed the outer wing leading edge to expose the outer fuel tank z-bracket which I then drilled to further secure the position of the fuel tank on the opposite side.

- I then removed the 3/32" clecos holding the T-701 skin the the T-702 rear baffle. Then I removed the upper tank structure exposiong the T-702 baffle. Having drilled the innermost (RE) and outermost (R1) z-brackets. I then resecured the T-702 baffle to the drilled holes using 1/8" clecos.

- I then removed the W-408 leading edge rib and the W-423 join plate from the outboard wing leading edge.
