In this work session I worked on the Left Wing Leading Edge Rib (W-406-1R) and the W-423 join plate. I began by fitting the leading edge rib into the leading edge and marking the hole locations. Then I began deburring and fluting the ribs between the holes. Then I measured and marked the center of the rib to align the part once it was in the leading edge.
After measuring and aligning the rib, I match drilled the the holes through the skin onto the rib. Next, I measured and marked a line 1/2" from the edge of the W-423 join plate, then inserted the plate, secured it with side grip clecos, and match drilled the plate.
I also worked on leveling the spars, securing the rear spar to the jig and removing the twist from the wing frame.
