Brief Description: Right Wing Leading Edge and Wing Skins
In this work session, I match drilled the W-406-1L Rib and fitted the W-423 join plate to the right wing leading edge. then I noticied that I was also running out of cleco's (I currently have 200 of them on order), So to alleviate my cleco problem I elected to rivet the leading edge skin on the right wing.
I leveled wing structure with an electronic level and measured the wing for twists with plumb bobs. After assuring the wings were level and had no twist, I affixed the wing skins to the the right wing frame.
I also cut, shaped and fitted four steel feet to bottom of the jig to attach caster wheels to make the jig moveable. After installing the wheels, I thought better of making the jig moveable, and removed them. The good part about this is, if later I need to move the jig, or want to attach it to the floor to prevent movement, I can.
