Brief Description:  Riveted on Left Elevator trim tab

I received my Cleaveland Tools Main Squeeze rivet squeezer in the mail today. I'd finally had enough of the Brown tool economy squeezer. It works great for dimpling. However it is not a consistent rivet driving tool. The reason for this is because the yoke and the drive pin are not aligned in close tolerance, so it imperceptibly shifts while squeezing. Causing the rivets to minutely cant while setting. Is it bad? No. It works acceptably. But the consistency with which it was doing this was driving me batty. So I saw a 1.5" yoke was on clearance, and I thought that more than offset the price, so I ordered it.

Since I received it, I decided to use it to set the rivets for the trim tab. I can report the squeezer works well. I only had to reset one rivet, Thankfully it was the first one, and also I'm thankful that aluminium bends well. Note to self, practice a lot more before using a new tool on the final product. Better yet, the most improtant thing to learn is buy the better/more expensive tool to begin with. In sum, the trim tab was successfully attached. The tab lays flush with the elevator, and all of the rivets are spectacular. Also, the squeezer uses a lot less force to squeeze nearly perfect rivets.
