Brief Description: EAA Technical Counselor Visit and Horizontal Stabi
Today my EAA Tech counselor, Bob Di Meo, stopped by and looked at my work and helped me improve my riveting. He inspected my current work on my Horizontal Stabilizer, including the rivets that I'd installed. He replaced one rivet, where the machine head was damaged by the cupped set. All of the other rivets, he inspected and said were okay. He also showed me the correct way to use use the swivel mushroom set to set my flush rivets in the skin. He also helped me properly install the nose rib in the right stabilizer. Lastly he showed me how to properly rivet the horizontal stabilizer forward spar to the stabilizer skin.
