On this day, I began work by countersinking the right E-702 spar. The plans call out for the four holes where the E-702 meets the Right E-709, to allow the powder coated elevator control horn (WD-605-R1) to sit on the junction of the spar and the root rib. Next, I scuffed all of the parts to the rudder frame. Finally I began priming another set of parts of the empennage. First by wiping the parts down with Acetone to remove any latent dirt and grease. Then I made sure all of the parts had the correct markings on them via the plans, with a sharpie. Finally I sprayed all of the parts with an aerosol"Moeller Zinc Phosphate primer in Green.
