Brief Description: Rework of seat hardpoints / Keel airleron bearing
Trimmed Triax layup on landing gear bulkhead. Cut holes for landing gear bolts. Did not install bolts (left the oak drift pins in place) just yet as additional Triax will be applied to the landing gear bulkhead once the spare is installed.
Removed (via die grinder & palm sander) the BID cloth over the seat attachment hardpoints. There were huge voids between the fuselage floor and the aluminum blocks. That is, no flox was used to bridge the gap between the aluminum and the existing floor... Sanded smooth a portion of the existing floor near the harpoints.
Began “assessing” installing the keel and control rods. Cleaned-up and mounted the forward aileron bearing in its aluminum angle -bracket. The aluminum was primed a few weeks ago.
