A few weeks ago I drew some scale hinges for the forward hatch that will allow it to swing up and forward – sort of like a gas cap lid on a car, but vertically. I also drew some guides to locate the 1/4” bolt hinge-pin as the location of the hinge is critical to get the fit and lift needed. I elected to use ½ hobby-ply for the “C” portion of the hinges and will laminate them with carbon cloth soon. (see next section)
