Used bondo to fill pin-holes on the recessed area of the canard trailing edge - factory did not apply any filler coat here. Also, sanded the leading edge of the elevators and used bondo to fill low spots. Getting both of these areas smoother would have been more difficult had the hinges been installed.
Marked and drilled #30 pilot holes on each of the elevator hinges - will be enlarged to 3/16" later (once I have the c-sink and correct screws on-hand). Roughed-up lower surface of the hinges and bonded the hinges with pull-rivets and structural adhesive.
