I never actually got to drill the right flap hinge or finish the flap brace. It's a bit tight in the garage so I flipped the wing cradle around to get better access to the right wings. I started by rigging the aileron according to the building manual. The aileron is then used as a guide for the flap. Aligning the trailing edges and assuring 1/4 inch clearance between them sets the position of the flap. Having said that, I was not happy with how the top surfaces align. I am not sure what is going on. Everything determining this alignment is pre-drilled. Maybe the hinge is offset somehow.
