Installed VOR antenna in the right tip, bottom surface. So I riveted the left one first as it was less complicated. There are a few mounting issues I have to figure out first. - It need to be riveted to the hinge to get a good ground plane. That's the easy part. - There is one part of the antenna than can be adjusted for tuning. If I glass it in completely, I cannot do any modification or tuning (if needed). So I was thinking of finding another way of securing it to the tip. Maybe I just use tape until I can verify optimal tuning. I got a HF/VHR analyzer (MFJ-259C) to test the all antenna installs when that time comes.
