Finished the tie in bracket. It's basically a 100% clone of the original but with the lower set of holes moved up 1/8 to get better edge distance.
I had drilled the two lower holes earlier, so I went ahead and upsized the upper attachment hole in the HS. I then took the VS of and drilled the upper row and upsized to #30 and deburred.
I mounted the tie-in bracket to the HS with AN3 bolts and used size 3 rivets to check stability It was completely solid so I clamped it, removed the HS and flipped it around for better access to the lower two holes, which I upsized to 3/16 for AN3 bolts.
I checked the bead/string the last time, it was dead on so I am very happy.
Next up is elevator and rudder stops adjustment. That's for tomorrow.
