I asked on VAF how much gap is recommended between wingtip and skin, but didn’t get any answer. I decided to use one of my small files, which is about 3/64 wide, to create an even gap. If it is too small the painter can make it wider. I will look around on the RVs at Oshkosh a week from now. The tips fit pretty well, just a few spots that need filler. The top of the wing came out better than the bottom for a change. On top of the wing I will in any case put a thin layer of aeropoxy light, just to make tip and skin 100% in perfect level.
