Put some K36 on the rudder top today. I had primed the top with EkoPoxy when I build it a few years back. So I had to sand it off first. Holding off on the elevators a while. I am not sure if I should cover up the counter weight screws or not. Should be safer with them covered and I cannot get to the upper (or is it inner) nut easily after riveting the fairings on anyways. I am thinking of making the VS fairing removable. It’s a nice place for a camera mount: http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=120879 . I also got the fairings done. I did what you did with the cowling. Squeegeed epoxy before first priming, had very few pin holes. So it only took 2 rounds of priming sanding.
