I made an glare shield inlay out of 0.020 aluminum using the template. After I glued the padding on the underside, I had to adjust the fit a little as the thickness changed the positioning. It was relatively easy as I drilled it to the glare shield, clecoed in placed and marked for trimming and hole positions.
After making opening and trimming for size I glued the Aero Classic glare shield material on top.
I had earlier made test pieces to make sure the grill fit the opening and how to form the material in the openings, so it was an easy job.
I then put the grilles in position admired the work and took a few pictures.
