I put everything in place for the drilling Step 3, that is, drilling C-618 blocks and F-745 ribs. As I have a rotisserie, I could flip the fuselage upside down and comfortable drill from the inside.
I then inserted the new F-644, flipped the C-617 delrin blocks and drilled through the remaining hinge components. This was done with the fuselage the normal position. Access to the area was obtained by lifting the skin up.
The picture shows the resulting alignment, I will trim for the necessary clearance. Before putting the canopy skin back on and also trim that for clearance.
