Brief Description:  Build ECU engine simulator

This is it - time to get started building my Waiex!

I'm building my own VW engine conversion using the MegaSquirt II ECU for both ignition and fuel injection control. This ECU is user programmable.

The first step for the ECU kit is to build the engine simulator / tester for checking the ECU and for practicing programming before you try it on the actual engine.

All the parts for the kit were well labelled, but there were no instructions... because its the 21st century now and the instructions are all online! Didn't really need them, though - you just match the labels with the markings on the circuit board.

The only flaws - missing diode D3, and no polarity markings for the LEDs.

Glad I started on this board first - I'm sure I have numerous cold solders to correct.

(Thanks to Dave Manning for letting me borrow his soldering iron.)
