Brief Description:  Transfer punch & pilot drill holes in spar root do

1. Inserted bolts into the 5/16" holes in the root of right wing spar to assure alignment of the three spar-cap layers.

2. Carefully aligned the doubler plate to the spar caps and C-clamped it in place as shown in Fig. 1. The 5/16" transfer punch is shown in the bottom-middle bolt hole.

3. Punched the location for each 5/16" bolt hole.

4. Punched the location for each 1/4" bolt hole that will be used for the AN4 bolts I'm using in place of the Zenair supplied AN3's to bolt the doubler plate to the spar caps.

5. Pilot drilled the holes 3/32" then enlarged to 1/8". I plan to move the drill press to the work table to finish drilling and reaming the holes.
