Brief Description: Continue drilling top rear skin
1. I have two 1x2's with notches to engage the ribs.
2. Augmented rib positioning system:
- On each 1x2 I marked the intersection of the outside of the skin where they engage the appropriate rib. This greatly speeds moving the 1x2 to the desired rib. - Used pinch clamps to clamp the spars to the beams. See Fig. 1 - Screwed a small piece of plywood to a short piece of 2x4 - Clamped the 2x4 to the end the work table with a C-clamp. See Fig. 1 - engaged the desired rib with the notch in the 1x2, pushed the 1x2 in or out as needed to align the rib flange centerlines with pilot holes to be drilled in the skin - Pinch clamped the 1x2 to the plywood to hold the 1x2 in position
3. Drilled another 20% of the holes into the rib flanges.
