1. Set the clecoed skeleton onto the rails and adjust as closely as possible so that the main spar is level and at 9° and the rear spar is level.
2. Rivet the ribs to the spars, A5.
3. The rivet holes for the main spar-Rib 1 joint were only 7.5-mm from the L-angle Nose Rib1. I could not use the pneumatic riveter because there was not enough room for the nose piece betwen the mandrels and L-angle. In fact, There wasn't enough room for my hand rivet puller. I had to use a lot of force to squeeze the hand riveter in, and ended up having to drill out two rivets. I finally had to clamp the spar to the table so that I could push hard on the spar with the tool. See Fig. 1.
4. There were a total of 82 rivets in the ribs plus a few extras for the doublers at the wing root on the rear spar. See Fig. 2.
