Brief Description: Hang Rudder, Stabilizer, & Elevator from the ceili
1. Taped pieces of bliste packaging material to the elevator and stabilizer. Put extra padding onto the stabilizer attachments and the rudder bottom horn to avoid damaging the adjacent pieces.
2. Used a 1" strap to grip the rudder, stabilizer, and elevato rindividually and to then tie all 3 together.
3. Used a bicycle hangar ($6 from Harbor Freight) to hand the parts from the ceiling as shown in Fig. 1.
4. The only remaining assembly required on the tail feathers is
- Fit the bottom leading edge skin to the fron of the rudder. - Rivet the hinge (and elevator) to the stab. - attach the cover for the trim tab servo access
