Brief Description: Make new rear spar attachment, drill & cleco
I received the new rear spar attachment from ZAC. I cut it to shape and then filed to final dimensions. It really helped to securely clamp the part to the table and in a vise while filing. A vixen file worked very well for quickly removing ~2-3 mm of metal in spots. I used a half round file on the round portion of the cutout. I also put duct tape onto the part to protect the surface from jabs from the files which had been a problem when making the original part. I drilled and clecoed the attachment to the rear spar with a combination of #30 and #40 holes.
