Brief Description:  Drill & clecoe stabilizer front spar

Front spar prep was straight-forward. Everything fit fine. The only problem I encountered with the instructions was regarding the holes for the spar doubler. The instructions said to drill and clecoe every other hole with a #30 or #40 drill, starting in the middle. I used the #30, since I don't have any clecoes for #40 holes. The instructions never said whether or not I should then drill the bypassed holes with the #30. I couldn't see that it made much difference, so I drilled them. One other minor item. The instructions should probably have suggested not drilling the doubler holes here the attachments and ribs are attached. Then those holes would only have been drilled once. However, since the holes have to be opened with a #20 eventually, that really doesn't make a difference either, other than drilling a few more holes an extra time.

I used the side grip Clecoe clamps for the 1st time and they were very handy.
