Brief Description: Rivet aileron trim tab in place
1. Lubed the hinge pin with CRC Heavy Duty Spray silicone lubricant, #05074, that dries to a hard coat; inserted the hinge pin into the hinge & safety wired both ends. The safety wire is redundant because I don't see any way the pin could come out of the installed hinge.
2. Clecoed the channel, hinge and trim tab in place.
3. Connected the servo to the cable and put heat shrink tubing over the connector.
4. Secured the cable to an MS21919-DG3 clamp and the connector to a cable mount. See Fig. 1.
5. Cotter key'd the control rod to the servo; clecoed the servo to the top of the aileron; cotter key'd the control rod to the trim tab.
6. Used 12 VDC power supply to verify correct operation of the servo/trim tab.
7. Riveted the channel,hinge, trim tab, and servo.
