Brief Description:  Drill and cleco stab skin to rear spar-1

1. I placed the stabilizer skin over the skeleton. I observed that the rear spar appeared to be bowed so that the center of the rear spar was about 2-3 mm further aft than the ends. I called ZAC and talked to Caleb about the problem. He recommended just pulling the middle of the spar so that the spar was aligned with the rear edge of the skin.

2. I tried to do this by using a 2x4x8, a small 2x4 block, and hardwood clamps to pull the ends of the spar rearward while pushing the center forward. It turned out that the spar was clamped so tightly to the table that all I could do was to rotate the top of the spar. I had to release the center plywood clamps to make it possible to move the spar.

3. Eventually, I took the 2x4x8 off and just pulled the spar so that the prepunched holes in the skin lined up with the rivet line on the rear spar, and drilled with #40, and clecoed.

4. When I was done, I checked again for twist, and found that the ends of the front spar were still 20±0.5 mm off the table top. Note, I was measuring at a point just inboard from the joggle on the bottom of the spar.
