Brief Description:  Rivet the left top spar cap back together

Following (with two exceptions) the 5/27 procedure, I riveted the extruded angle to the spar cap. The rivets were set perfectly with Gary's pounder, and all shop heads met Mil Specs.

The first exception to the 5/27 procedure was that I set the shop heads on the spar cap doubler rather than on the extrusion. Outboard of the spar cap doubler, I reversed the spar and set the shop heads on extruded angle, so that the manufactured head would be against the 0.040 web. Fig. 1 shows the newly riveted extrusion on the spar.

The second exception was, as noted on 8/2, was to put the AN3 bolt through the extra hole drilled between the next to last rivet hole on the extrusion and the last hole. The last hole on the extrusion has a 3/16" rivet. See Fig. 2, which also shows the "extra" rivet at the end of the spar cap doubler per the original design.
