1 Using a smart level , adjust the nose gear so that it is 90 deg side, to side.
2 CHeck the side to side play, by grasping the nose gear and moving it side to side. If the nose gear moves, fabricate and add aluminum shims between the bering block and the engine mount on either side to keep it centered.
3 Adjust the fore and aft position of the bearing blocks sothat the hinge axis will be parellel to the firewall.
4 Set the rake of the nose gear to 1 to 2 deg forward.
5 Swing the gear into the tunnel to check that it is centered.
6 Match drill the bearing blocks to the engine mount using a 1/4 drill.
7Secure the nose landing geag with eight bolts ( AN4-7A) washers (AN960-416L) and nuts ( AN363-428) in the new holes.
