Brief Description: INSALLING THE NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR
1 Centre the forward nose gear actuator rod end in the threads with a minimum of 5 thread engagment.
2 Attach the actuator rod end to its connecttion point on the nose gear strut with a bolt ( AN8H-14A) . When all actuator adjustments are complete secure the rod end lock nut using loctite 272.
3 Attach the actuator cylinder to the actuator bracket (209-0128) using bolt (AN7-20A ), a buna washer on each side of the bearing, and a nut ( AN365-720A)
4 With the nose gear in the down position, seat the actuator bracket to the hardpoint on the firewall and clamp it i plce.
5 Match drill the two bolts holes to the firewall.
6 Attch the actuator bracket to the firewall using bolts. (AN4-12A), washers( AN960-416L) , and nuts( AN365-428A) in these two bolt holes.
7 Remove the clamp.
8 Match drill the two holes tothe tunnel.
9 Attach the actuator bracket to the tunnel through these two holes using bolts (AN4-12A) washer (AN960-416L) , and nuts ( AN365-428A)
