Brief Description: GAS STRUT

THE GAS STRUT IS FOR EMERGENCY GEAR DOWN SITUATIONS. 1 Verify the location of the hrdpoint in the left tunnel wall. It may need tobe adjusted so that the braket may be attached further forward. 2 Attach the ball stud tothe nose gear strut. Apply loctite 242 to the threads and torque to 55 inlbs. 3 Install te rear bracket on the lft side of the firewall tunnel as shown in fig 21.2.E.9.
